Folder editing
Folder can not only be modified and customised so that the name and design fits your BrandCloud settings, but can also be transformed into something completely different - a link.
How to edit a folder
- Hover your mouse over the folder you wish to edit.
- Click on the three dot icon that appears in the bottom right corner of the folder tile.
- From here, click Edit.
- Modify everything on the folder that you need to edit.
- Save your changes by clicking Save in the bottom right corner.
How to turn a folder into a link
Turning a folder into a link allows you to get to any URL with one click. Therefore, you don't have to create a smartpage with a link or find other ways to link to the desired content as easily as possible.
If you want to make a folder a link when you create it, just put the link in the Button link bar. You can of course customise the tile with your own title or preview, but setting the image to the top bar no longer plays any role here.
If you want to make an additional link from the folder, you need to make sure it has no content, as if it does, the bar for the link will disappear. This is so that the link cannot overwrite the content that the folder contains.
The type of embedded URL doesn't matter, it can link to anything. Both internally and externally. The link will always open in a new window.
