Structuring teams - subteams

Subteams are a way to expand existing teams. You can create as many of them as you need. Their advantage is that the same access settings are applied to them as to the team they subordinate to. You can further structure user access to a specific section.

Example: We have an HR department in our company, but we want to divide users into Recruiting and Event Planning groups. Thus, we will set each subteam to access only the given sections of the team.

Creating a subteam

1. Go to any team you want to create a subteam for (except Edit All and View All.)

2. In the right column of the page, there is an Add subteam button.

3. You will be asked to name it. You will then create it with the Add button.

4. After that, you work with the subteam the same as with a team.

đź’ˇ You can only set the accesses that are already set in the team above. Therefore, you cannot, for example, give a subteam access to a folder that the team above does not have access to.

Example of default access settings for the Designers - Prague subteam → we can set access only to the Designers team structure.
